and I can't wait to roast my turkey!!
I want to share the day with my family eating good food, watching the Cowboys play football and being thankful for all that I have.
As we all know, the holidays can become stressful, it sometimes feels that there's not enough time in the day to do the things we need to do, see the people we want to see or just breathe for a moment. One thing I have learned throughout the years is that I am thankful not only for the family I do get to see, but the family I don't get to see, I am thankful that everyone helps me to understand when I don't have enough time to do the things I need to do and I am most thankful for the times that I end up holding my breath and someone tells me to breathe... Thanks, Y'all!
I am thankful for my parents for the things they did right, (as a mom myself I know you don't always do the right things at the right times) I'm thankful for my sister for giving me a wonderful brother in law, two great nephews and for loving me even during those times when she probably didn't want to, I am thankful for my husband for doing some of the weirdest things at the strangest times, (which keeps me on my toes and helps me to realize that life is only perfect in my head) he loves me more than I've ever been loved by a man in my life and he has given me a chance to be a stay at home part-time mom to a wonderful son.
I am also thankful for my daughter Kristin, for making me grow up and showing me how to love someone unconditionally, I am thankful for my stepson Ethan for giving me the opportunity to prove to myself that I am a good parent when I don't have to hold down the fort alone. I am truly thankful for my husbands family, I have never felt more welcome into a family as they have made me feel. I am very very blessed!
Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!!!

I'm thankful that you came into my life and my son's life. With you in our life we are both better people. Thanks again for loving both of us unconditional.
We're thankful for you too! It's great to have you close by. Even greater at Thanksgiving since you don't mind touching a 'Naked Turkey' ;)
