Guess What?

I've figured out my future life and exactly how I want it to be. Yep, in my next life should I have one...

I want to be some "old" ladies lap cat!

You heard me right, I want nothing more but to come back next time as a indoor house kitty.

I don't know for sure if their will be another life here on Earth after this one, but if so, I want to be an old ladies lap kitty. She doesn't have to have the best house on the block or a ton of money, she just needs to love having me around. I will promise to be there for her when she needs me, but I won't be a kitty that bugs her.

I promise to sleep with her at night and make her feel loved too! I want to lay on the carpet and sun bathe and only talk when spoken to. I wouldn't mind having a ball of yarn to play with and some catnip every now and then to help me feel silly and make her laugh.

I won't fuss if she doesn't get around to cleaning my litter box everyday and I will make sure not to jump on her kitchen counters while she is around. I'll understand when she needs me to walk by and rub against her legs to show my appreciation.

I will also be a good helper around the house. If she is at her computer, I'll jump right up on the desk to help her navigate her mouse. I've learned alot in this life about doing laundry, so I can help with that too! I'll just lay in the basket of clean towels and keep them warm, that way they won't wrinkle before she has a chance to fold them.

I'll even use the lessons I've learned in this life about being independent, I know she will like that. I'll sit on the window sill and watch her drive away and then run to the front door when she returns to greet her. I think I could be a good listener for her on those days she needs to complain about things.

So, that is what I want to do should I find myself back on Earth some day, that is after this life is fully completed of course.

As you all know, I am the proud momma of two house kitties, one is extremely nice and the other not so much. But I have learned alot from my cats and I really like the life they lead.
So, there you have it! I just want the life of a cat. It's plain and simple.

Things "R" a Changing...

UPDATE 4:21pm ... Weather.com has changed their format too.... Crap!

Boy, just when you think you have everything figured out, someone goes and changes it on you.

For example...

I'm not too sure how my Mother In Law and my Sister are going to deal with Brett Farve (I truly believe they are in love with him) no longer being a Green Bay Packer but,

a New York Jet.

And for me, it's Nascar shuffling around their 2009 schedule, just when I finally got it all memorized.

Casey Mears out of the Hendrick family

and Mark Martin in... Okay y'all, I just now accepted Dale, Jr.

Tony Stewart aka "Smoke" leaving the number 20 car in the dust and trading it

in on the number 14... A new number to remember to yell at for getting too close to Jeff Gordon!

And to top it all off, I go to sign in and do this silly blog.... lo and behold they went and changed the look of the dashboard on me! What's a girl to do with all of these changes in life? One change in life should be enough.... right ladies?

Does anyone else have anything to tell me? Any more changes coming that I haven't heard about yet! I'm ready now. Lay them on me!!!!!

Just In Case You Ever Wondered...

I swiped this from another blogger
aka "A Day in the Life"

I thought it was cute and most importantly TRUE.
Believe me, these things I would most definitely do..

Dear Friends and Family...

1. When you are sad -- I will help you get (*add your own bad habit here*) and plot revenge against the sorry jerk who made you sad.

2. When you are blue -- I will try to dislodge whatever is choking you.

3. When you smile -- I will know you are thinking of something that I would probably want to be involved in.

4. When you are scared -- I will rag you about it every chance I get until you're not.

5. When you are worried -- I will tell you horrible stories about how much worse it could be until you quit whining.

6. When you are confused -- I will try to use only little words.

7. When you are sick -- Stay the heck away from me until you are well again. I don't want whatever you have.

8. When you fall -- I will laugh at your clumsy behind, but I'll help you up.

9. This is my oath.... I pledge it to the end. "Why?" you may ask; "because you are my family and friends".

Friendship/Family is like peeing in your pants, everyone can see it, but only you can feel the true warmth.

Calling All Fairies,

I found a toadstool for you...

It was located in my neighbors front yard. I just had to take a picture of it and I made my husband come outside to look at it too. I have never in my life came across a mushroom this big. It was about 3 1/2 inches across and about 4 inches tall..

Just thought I would share it with you, guess it's been a pretty boring day if this is all I have to blog about. But sometimes boring is a blessing!

Psssst, Psssst.....Hey, Do You Hear Me?

It's me Itty Bitty Kitty, my human mom hasn't been blogging much lately cause she wasn't feeling too good, she's had somtin' called the bron"kite"ist newmoanya. I think she is gettin' better though, I hope so anyway, all that coffin is gettin' hard on daddy, Honda and me tryin' to sleep wiff her. So, I've decided to catch everyone up on the latest news around the zoo, okay?

While she has been takin' it easy, the rest of us has just been sittin' round watching the black box tv thing... Mom has us kinda hooked that that funny weddin' show she told y'all 'bout before. As soon as she leaves the room, I've got the remote and I'm ready to watch it... It reminds me of being back home in Texas.

Oh, she also was watchin' that loud show, it's the one where all the colorful things go 'round in circles and that man yells "Let's go racin' boys!" I kinda like that gofer they got on the show now... umm, I think his name is Digger? Problem is by the time I notice him, he goes back in his hole and that isn't much fun for me. Mom sure gets excited though!

Daddy has been workin a lot, he comes home late after a hard day and quitely crawls in bed, I think it's so he doesn't wake up mom and she starts a coffin again. Thanks dad!

My human sister Kristin moved back to Georgia last month and she brought that cat named "Batman" back with her, I'm deathly afraid of him, he litter rully scares the you know what outta me. Mom makes sure I'm in her bedroom with the door shut when he comes around so I can feel safe. Here is a picture of him, just in case you see him and he scares you too...

My older feline sister Kila has come out of her closet more than ever lately... she not hidin' like she used too! I think she is starting to like that guy my human mom likes... I think he is one of those guys that goes round in circles. I caught her sneakin' round the soft bed on the floor.

Ok, I gotta say, my canine sister Honda and I like him too!

That bird we call Ollie, well he has learned a few new words... some, not so nice. He has been saying the "S" word and it's not "Shoot". My human mom reminds him "that's a bad word Ollie!" She is trying to teach him to say "Chip or Ship" instead. He is not catchin on very quick though!

Oh, let me tell you..... I'm sure mom has mentioned this, but I've heard there is talk of a new baby on the way! I thought I was the baby of the family, but it seems this is going to be a human baby. I overheard my human mom and dad talk about it, they say it should be here around the 23rd of October. They go to the doctor today for a check-up, I hope it is all good.

I just got used to Ethan and now they have another little person coming on board, don't tell anyone, but I hope it's a girl. I'm getting ready for more tail pulling and neck hugs. Yeah, Ethan used to carry me by my neck. Awww, but I still love him and I'm very nice to him too. He's a good boy, I'm sure the next little one is going to love me too... We are all praying for a healthy little one, say a little prayer for us!

One thing I can say about the past month is that the little dog that left to go to Texas with my human sister Kristin, well she didn't come back and she even changed her name... It seems she got all high and mighty when she left, her name was "Margarita".... but now that the Southern Belle has moved to Texas.... well her new name is "Princess!" What is that all about?

I guess that is all for now. I think I'm going to get comfy, lay down and take a nap...

I'll write more if mom doesn't start to feel better soon. I think she is well on her way to recovery! Amen!!!! Hope you all have a great day!

Love, Itty Bitty Kitty

I Love This Show!

As most of you know, I was the owner of a wedding consulting and coordinating business when I lived in Texas a few years ago. It was a challenging business to say the least, especially for a perfectionist like myself. Most of my clients were the more traditional wedding type, but occasionally I would run across a group of well, for the lack of a better word... REDNECKS!

If you are not familiar with these folks, let me tell you what I have learned. They are probably the most honest people I've ever met, they truly know how to budget their funds and they are pretty easy to please. They use the words yes ma'am and weddin' a lot, they like to chug their beer out of ice cold kegs and slurp jello shots out of sonic drive-in cups.

Speaking of shots, sometimes a shotgun and a few mounted deer heads are included in the weddin' photos too! But most of all, they are a proud bunch of pickup drivin'; loud cussin'; overall happy people. It really seems as if they don't have a care in the world and just make their own fun wherever they go, which to me sounds like a pretty good way to exist.

Anyway, as usual I was channel flipping and ran across a show that caught my eye and I decided to check it out. It comes on CMT and the name of the show is: "MY BIG REDNECK WEDDING". It is hosted by Tom Arnold, yes Rosanne Barr's ex husband. I just had to watch this show, I wanted to see if maybe I knew someone!!! Turns out that I didn't know any of these couples, but I am going to continue to watch it. You should watch it too, it's quite entertaining.

I never knew anyone would even think of "mattress surfing and hog chasing" at their wedding. As I look back at the weddings I have done, I think I could have made more money working with a crowd like this and had less stress to deal with. Let me tell you their vow writing was something to die for... "I love you 'cause you're hotter than a hot pocket" Wow, the bride was in tears, who could top that!

So, who really needs all that traditional foo foo stuff when you can decorate with empty beer cans, get hitched by someone wearing camouflage, entertain your guests by mud wrestling in your wedding dress, chase and catch a greased hog with the winner receiving a $10.00 gift card from Wal-Mart and last but not least... mattress surf all in the same day? Maybe next season we can witness, "MY BIG REDNECK HONEYMOON" Well, on second thought, maybe not!

Does He Love You...Like He Loves Me?

Me the wife vs Work the mistress... I miss my husband more than he knows... I understand work has your days and most of your nights! I want you to know I love you and I am thankful that you are so willing to work hard for our family. I appreciate you so much and miss you alot too. Just to let you know, I sometimes feel like Reba and at other times feel like Kelly. It's the best of both worlds, the wife and the mistress... You lose work! OOOOLALA!!!!

The Joys Of Corny Dog Day!

Ethan has been in silly mode today and lunch time was quite funny, so I thought I would share it with you. As you can tell by the title I made him corny dogs for lunch and he was excited to get them for some reason. You would think by his reaction he had never had a corny dog before. He asked me what else he was having and I told him, "Potato Chips" he then asked what else again, I said "Ketchup" his comment was "That sounds Great!". So, I got it all ready for him and called him to the kitchen and said "Lunch is ready"... he came in running.

A little bit later he yelled out...

Mama Gina come here!

I said, Why?

He said, I got sumpin to tell you!

I walked into the kitchen to hear him say....

"Look, when you pull your stick out all you have left is a weenie with a hole in it, isn't that funny to look at?"

(shaking my head while laughing) I stated, "You are your father's son".

He responded back laughing, with "I knoooooow, sillllllllly".

I think it is a guy thing from an early age to have such innuendos, I've come to believe it's not done on purpose.... they really see things differently from us girls, maybe it's just kinda there from birth! I will never look at a corny dog the same way, not ever again! Thanks to my sweet boy Ethan.

Remember This At Christmas Time

According to the Alaska Department of Fish and Game, while both male and female reindeer grow antlers in the summer each year, male reindeer drop their antlers at the beginning of winter, usually late November to mid-December. Female reindeer retain their antlers till after they give birth in the spring.

Therefore, according to EVERY historical rendition depicting Santa's reindeer, EVERY single one of them, from Rudolph to Blitzen, had to be a girl.

We should've known... ONLY women would be able to drag a fat man in a red velvet suit all around the world in one night and not get lost.

Way to go, Ladies!

12. Favorite Christmas Movie? It's A Wonderful Life

27. Do you tell the Christmas story? No

28. Do you leave cookies for Santa? Of course! Cookies and milk!

Alrighty, then. Let's hear all about Christmas at YOUR house. Tag. You're it!

Tour Of Homes - (Tagged by Lisa)

Our Dining Room...

sure needs to be used more often. It is pretty much used only on special occasions such as birthdays and holidays when family is invited over to eat.

Although... we sometimes use it for other things such as,

a buffet table when we have cookouts

a card table for playing poker

a farkle table when playing the fun game of farkle

a table for sewing (rarely, but sometimes when I decide to sew it comes in handy)

But most of the time it just becomes a place the cat likes to lay on for safety reasons, (the dog gets too frisky for her!)

Can't wait to see what room is tagged next!!! Tag to the next person, you're it!

Tour Of Homes (Tagged By Lisa)

Here is my front porch and
as you can see, it is NOT decorated as well as Lisa's. We had planned on carving the pumpkins before Halloween, but since all of my carvers were at work most of the time, the pumpkins have stayed in tack. But you can bet your booty, they will be cut up for pumpkin pie and pumpkin rolls at Thanksgiving!

Our house is a three year old, four bedroom Ranch Style home and is is a new area of an older subdivision. (Hmmm, that just reminded me to buy some Ranch Styled beans for dinner) Anyway, my neighbor's pretty much stay to themselves and we only wave and say "Hi" when we see one another. That's my kind of neighbors, don't get me wrong.... I will be there to help you in a heartbeat, but I am not one to get into your daily business or be the neighbor that everyone knows as "Mrs. Kravits", from bewitched.... you know what I mean? Ok, considered yourself tagged too... Lets see a tour of your home!

BlueMountain.com
you would be willing to dress up like this for me sometime? Well ladies you all know, it takes a real man to wear Purple and a Jeff Gordon cap. My cousin Rex sent this card to us and I just had to share it with you all. Too Funny!!!!

Okay, he sent this one too, so I guess the only thing to do is to post it as well... What do you think, how do you like me now?

Childhood Photos (Tagged by Lisa)

I Love My Baby Sister
This picture was taken in 1969, Lisa was about 7 months old and I had just turned 11 years old. As you can see by my grin, I was happy to have a baby sister to pose with. I'm still not too sure what she was thinking at the time the photo was taken, but she sure is gorgeous. America's Next Top Baby Model!

Lisa was just a little over a year old in this picture, I had just turned 12 years old and mom was somewhere above us girls in age. I think it was the summer of 1970. This was just one of our many trips to Galveston, Texas for our summer vacation. I honestly have to say Lisa has always had the best hair of all of us girls and still does to this day. Look how tiny we all were, someone needed to order us some chili cheese fries!!!!! Okay, Toys R Rex.... consider yourself tagged too. I want to see pictures.

My Husbands Family Photo
How big my family has grown... and as a good daughter in law and sister in law... I'm not going to say anything about your ages in this photo because you all will probably be calling me soon for posting it in the first place. I love you all!!!!
